Subsidence Investigation Services
Subsidence can be understood as the downward movement of a building’s foundations caused by loss of support from the site beneath. The typical signs of subsidence are distortion or cracking of a building’s walls or floors. But settlement, shrinkage, thermal or moisture movements can also cause similar signs, so investigation by an experienced Structural Engineer is needed for an accurate diagnosis. Our Structural Engineers have that experience, having investigated over 700 cases of suspected subsidence since 2013.
